31st Birthday

Yesterday was my 31st birthday!  We didn't do anything too exciting--just had dinner at our house with close family last night and this Sunday we will have dinner at my parents house again for my birthday.  We are big birthday people.  LOVE them!  My hubby got me a pair of much needed sunglasses (he is the best!) and my parent's got me running shoes (much needed as well).  I'm convinced they helped me run my first post baby 5K last weekend faster.  :)  Below are a few of the pictures from dinner last night.

Miss LG and her cousin Little C - they are just 6 weeks apart!  I think she is trying to eat his hand here....

My parents (Grancy and Papa) with the grandkids - Miss LG is in Grancy's lap and Little C is in Papa's lap.  Behind are Little N and Mr. B.

Pumpkin Patch

Last Saturday we took the kiddos to the pumpkin patch.  A great time was had by all.  Little N got to feed the animals, go on a hay ride, climb all over bales of hay, and get a snow cone (yes....it is still pretty warm here, so he's not crazy!).  He was in heaven!  It was Miss LG's first time to visit a pumpkin patch, and she loved all the activity.  We snapped a few pictures while we were there too!

The first is always the hardest....

Wow!  Writing my first post has been much harder than I think it should have!  It sure has taken me long enough anyway.  I am a 30 year old (yes....I am officially 30 years old for 3 more days) wife, mother of 2 + an extra one that I'll claim, daughter, sister, friend.  We live in the great state of TEXAS!  Wouldn't want to be anywhere else, although I do like to visit other places.  I live 15 miles from my parents, my brother and his family, and my in-laws and in the same town I grew up in.  I just never have had any desire to leave.  My hubby and I just had our 2nd baby 4 moths ago--a little girl.  Finally!  After living the past 10+ years in a sea of testosterone I finally have someone to do girly things with.
I thought it would be neat to record our lives so that one day we can all look back and see where we've been.  I'm looking forward to the adventures ahead of us!
